During my trip to the USA to test the Acuerate® technology, I visited the head office of Predator® in Jacksonville Florida. I was very eager to get the Acuerate® low deflection pool cue into the hands of the robot there to see how this cue REALLY performed in relation to Cue Ball Deflection.

This test proved that the Acuerate® 10mm cue is the straightest shooting pool cue when intentional and even un-intentional side spin is applied to the cue ball.

Following the first shot using a Predator® cue, the Acuerate® was installed to the robot to compare the difference. The result was clear that the Acuerate® performed fantastically well producing a shot with an incredible low degree of deflection.

The robot was then fed with a 9mm snooker cue to see if it was simply the tip size that was making all the difference and it amazed the staff at Predator® that the 9mm snooker cue was out-performed by the Acuerate® 10mm cue.

I then left for the factory of Meucci® to allow their robot to test Acuerate® low deflection technology. Again the result was fantastic. The cue ball was placed on the break off spot down the middle of the table used for 8 ball and the object ball on the opposite corresponding spot further down the table used to spot the 8 ball.

The robot was set up to apply 1cm of right hand side spin aiming the cue ball to hit the centre of the object ball. The first shot was played with a Predator® cue, the second shot with a Meucci® cue and finally the Acuerate® cue.

You can see in the photo of the result that the Predator® P sent the object ball to the right of the intended target. The Meucci® M shot right but with less margin and the Acuerate® sent the cue ball straight down the middle of the table.
